Pay Drops
Tech pay, according Information Week, drops for first time in a decade. IT workers who still have jobs are making a lot less from stock options. Plus, base salaries and bonuses are falling. Managers should see an eight percent decline in
total compensation, while rank-and-file IT workers should expect a fall of 11 percent, according to a study by high-tech trade publication Information Week.
The IT folks are expected to have more time for community events and involvement. So, efforts such as the Technology Department at CLOH.Org could benefit.
